What, does Sarah Palin still think that she can get elected if her daughter speaks out against her "sins"?
I'm really not sure WTF that lot are thinking, or if they are thinking at all!
I think Bristol Palin thinks, "If I tell these girls that if you Do It, you'll get knocked up. Don't make my mistake," that somehow the message will get through.
I don't think it's right for high-schoolers to have sex, but that is because they are too young, not out of any desire to have people abstain until marriage.
BTW, what is your address? I misplaced the e-vite for the Victorian tea, and I need your street address so I can give my ride directions. Could you please e-mail me at JennyLinskyB at aol dot com? Thanks!
She's telling people not to have sex at all, which is dumb because it's a normal human instinct. It's also a mixed message from a teen mom who has already stated that abstinence is unrealistic. It's in some ways typical of the abstinence movement: "It's okay for me, but not for you."
Kids are probably going to have sex. It might not be a good idea, but it's a fact. Might as well prepare them with facts, not religion.
